Projects & Clients

Our focus is on working with people who need to get their messages out clearly to sell products/services, share ideas and knowledge and create awareness and raise profile.

For example, our company has promoted and helped encouraged attendance to a leadership conference; worked on the launch of a therapy treatment centre for children and youth with autism and assisted an event planning company with market research.

We've provided writing and communications services to companies and organizations in the fields of:

Information technology

  • Event planning

  • Education

  • Recreation

  • Leadership

  • Health care

  • Legal

  • Video production

Here is a sample of work we've done:

A community group organized a leadership conference in Whitby to bring together a number of speakers to share their experiences with attendees to help them become better leaders in their communities. Susan joined the organizing committee to help promote the conference, people in leadership positions and those who aspired to leadership leaders in their fields to share their experiences with us and help us learn and reflect on the challenges we face as leaders and potential leaders in our day-to-day lives.

Susan has provided consulting and writing services on a number of corporate video projects for clients including a utility company, a golf club and teaching academy, a real estate company and a linen and down bedding manufacturer.

In addition, Full Circle Communications wrote video script copy for the web videos on each page of Avtel Media - home page web host and web host on each of the website's main navigation pages.

A national organization that coordinates cancer screening and education programs hired Susan as communications consultant to advise on and write content and design for a brochure about cancer screening programs aimed at the general public across Canada.

When a provincial legal aid agency needed to set up and launch regional legal aid offices, Susan developed a communications strategy and materials that identified contentious issues and developed key messages to respond to questions. She planned and monitored print and web-based communications to gauge reaction and feedback from key publics including lawyers and organized official opening events, and received positive reaction from legal and other community members.

She also wrote and managed the design and production of Legal Aid Ontario's annual reports, telling the story of Legal Aid services and highlighting client and lawyer profiles.

Susan developed communications strategies for a series of community consultation meetings to gauge support for building a long-term care facility in a community setting. As part of the project team, she helped encouraged participation by neighbours early in the consultation process and throughout the project to get input and minimize potential opposition, including on facility design; facility design received approval from both the community and city council and proceeded to construction stage.

During an amalgamation, Susan collaborated on a communications team to develop a new corporate identity and logo for a healthcare corporation created from four institutions amalgamating into one. New corporate identity successfully launched on time and on the same day as the signing of the amalgamation. Media coverage

highlighted key messages.

While working at a hospital foundation, Susan coordinated the design and production of all communications materials for a $3.2-million hospital fundraising campaign, including a direct mail brochure outlining the campaign's goals, purpose and how donations and financial support could be directed to the campaign.

When a number of corporations came together to implement a new IT system, Susan developed a series of communications materials, including a brochure, about a new electronic information system to allow several hospitals in the region to share client information; focused on explaining in plain language the benefits to clients and securing signed acknowledgement to allow sharing of information. During evaluation after launch, majority of clients provided their approval and recognized the system's benefits.
